Is a hazard register required by law in NZ?Yes for servicing machinery. The rule is a 1995 regulation most guidance never mentions, and tagging comes from WorkSafe.
Is lockout tagout required by law in NZ?No law uses the word. The duties an induction meets are compulsory, and skipping one can still be a breach.
Is a site induction legally required in NZ?No general period exists in NZ law. The few fixed expiries that do, and where 2 and 3 years come from.
